How do you feel the RM contributes to the Del Norte and greater SLV communities?
I believe that the RMC has the opportunity to be the bridge between the arts and our community. Through encouraging and sustaining the ability to create and experience local and international arts; our community members can be filled with not only a sense of accomplishment but one of togetherness. By bridging the gap between our children, artisans, facilitators and the enthusiasms that are prevalent-we are filling a void that is necessary for growth and all around creativity that in many ways is falling to the wayside.
What inspires you to participate on the board?
My inspiration for participating on this particular board comes from the admiration that I have for the wonderful people that, firstly, share the board- along with our community members alike. I am excited to be able to affect change in a way that is quite tangible. The energy that is put in to this building can be felt by the smiles and participation from our community members.
