The Ruth Marie Center / La Vereda Foundation
La Vereda is a nonprofit organization that maintains the Ruth Marie Center as a community gathering place for the promotion of art and culture in a venue that unites the community of Del Norte, Colorado. The building was named after Ruth Marie Colville in honor of her many contributions to the community. Our building is located on 575 Columbia Avenue, just south of Grand Avenue in the town of Del Norte. Our Non-Profit foundation, La Vereda, means "pathway" in Spanish. We strive to strengthen this pathway in town by connecting and engaging with our community through hosting annual events and weekly classes.
We host weekly Yoga classes as well as other community and private events - such as concerts, live theatre and our annual holiday Gala fundraiser; which takes place the first week in December. Donations to La Vereda Foundation are tax deductible! Proceeds are used to keep the Ruth Marie Community Center open for all to enjoy. Please make your check payable to La Vereda Foundation and mail to P.O. Box 263, Del Norte, CO 81132.
