PRIVATE EVENT RENTALS

To make the Ruth Marie Center affordable to the San Luis Valley community for private events such as graduation parties, birthday parties, church parties, family parties, cinciñeras and weddings, we have kept the rental cost low.

Facilities include large wooden tables and metal folding chairs. The large wood floor on the main level is great for dancing, and the stage is large enough to accommodate a sizable band. Sound equipment is available through a local business that can be contracted separately (see wildwoodsounds.com). Several large windows on the main floor provide pleasant natural lighting along with indoor lighting. Kitchen facilities in the basement level include a refrigerator, an electric range, food-warmer, serving pans, sinks, ceramic dishes and flatware. The basement has a children's play area that can be used as a mother's lounge.

A cleaning deposit is requested before party rental and is returned if building is found clean afterward. We have plans in the future to renovate the building for wheelchair access, though at this time the stairs present a problem for wheelchairs.
