PROGRAMS & CLASSES - BEGINNING LATIN DANCE

schedule:	July 1, 15, 22, and 29, August 5, 19, and 26 (skips each 2nd Tuesday) - 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
admission charge:	$3 per session, per person donation to the Ruth Marie Center

This a 1-hour free-form dance session with the music and rhythms of African, Afro-Latino, and African-American song. In this environment participants can develop their own dance at their own pace with their own timing. The immediate objective is for all participants to engage in a pleasurable exercise activity without the regiment of a fixed step requirement. A secondary goal is to gain an appreciation of African rhythms, African song, and African worldview.
